Small kitchen appliance suggestions needed.

Have family members that have a list of kitchen appliances to help with cooking. Family of 4 with 2 adults and kids age 9 and 12. Would like a blender to make smoothies, air fryer and toaster oven. Need suggestions on size of each appliance and easy to use.Not requesting expensive name brands. Your help appreciated on your experience with any of these products and the better products to meet the families need. DH and I would like to give them all appliances. Your help appreciated. Kohl's and Home Depot dot com usually have good prices on small appliances, probably JCP as well. Maybe check out brand reviews on Consumer reports.

See what you can find on Facebook Marketplace: new in box or nearly new as well.

@SouthernBee You are a sweetheart! Wow. For the blender for smoothies....I have the Wolfgang Puck (HSN) Commercial blender and a Nutribullet (RX model) both are faculous. Since it's a family of 4 and given what they want....I think the money is best spent on the blender that can handle what they want and more. This blender would be a workhorse. It is in my house and I'm only one. Hope that helps.

I just recently bought a slow cooker with several settings. I have had it going on 2 weeks now and have cooked using it almost every night. Its a Corsori and I got it at Amazon. It steams, browns, saute's, rice cooker, yogurt maker, and slow cooks. I really, really like it.

@SouthernBee I just looked....the blender is $186, there is a code for 20% off (185434) but I don't know if that code is good for everyone. I have the HSN card. The blender is pricey but it does a lot for me including making soup, created nut flours, smoothies, etc.

@SouthernBee Yeah, it's pricey. Ok, given the price point....go for a Nutribulllet...you can get these at a lot of places with fab sales. I still have my original Nutribullet (gosh, I cannot count how many years I've had and used this but it's at least 10 years) and it's still going strong. It will be money well invested.

There are just the two of us and I have two air fryers. The largest one is the best. Mine is an XL brand. I would suggest you get the largest air fryer you can find that is affordable. A family of 4 needs to be able to cook a lot of food at once.

Toaster ovens come in many sizes. Be sure you choose one that fits their space and can hold regular small sizes of kitchen pans. Some only use special child sized pans.

Blenders? I dunno. I have a few including a Vitamix...they all seem to work the same.

Amazon has the Ninja Blender/Food Processor with several size bowls for $49. I have a similar one that I use for smoothies. Of course it's not as powerful as a Vitamix but it is great for the money.

@SouthernBee, that's so nice of you and your husband to help out family members. I no longer have my blender, but I know I bought it at Kohl's some years ago for a very reasonable price. Sorry that I don't remember the brand, but it was a "known" brand and worked just fine for my needs at the time.

I usually buy small appliances at Walmart, Kohl's, Target or similar stores and choose a brand name I'm familiar with and middle of the line in price. That's always worked for me. All of these stores have online shopping....and of course there is always Amazon as well.
