Cinnamon rolls

I LOVR Jimmy the Baker's cinnamon rolls BUT the last batch was not baked long enough. It was like it hadn't raised long enough so was rather doughy Good taste but not up to par.

Don't know how big his operation is - - but seems like he might be overwhelmed with all the orders plus trying to create new products. After several orders i went for the loaf that's dipped in butter - then rolled in sugar. OMG that loaf was a good substitute for a cement block. And sugar all over. I'm done with his products..........for several reasons.

Yeah, Sat. I'm making dinner rolls and choc chip cookies for my hog out week-end, taking to church to my buddies to help get rid of it all. LOL

I admire @SharkE and the others of you who have the patience and expertise to make homemade baked rolls and bread. I'm just not very talented at that, so I rely on Rhodes at grocery stores for their frozen cinnamon rolls and also their frozen bread loaves/rolls. I think their frozen cinnamon rolls are very good, and the bread dough makes great rolls of all kinds for someone like me. Just a suggestion for an alternative for buying locally at your grocers.

@jannabelle1 Thank you for your kind words. Seeing the quality of bakery stuff and the prices can inspire one to make their own.

If one is kitchen challenged a short cut is to get canned biscuits either the small ones or the Grands brand 8 count or 2 cans of 5 count and place on pan of prepared pecans and sauce and bake. 9x13 pan.

I'm making the short cut kind Sat. since I'm making dinner rolls and the choc chip cookies. The pecan rolls will be for Sunday breakfast.

@SharkE, that put a big ole smile on my face! They look absolutely delicious! There's honestly nothing better than the smell of home made rolls baking in the oven! Thanks for your photos! I'll be over for a couple of rolls and cookies! LOL!
