my poor airfryer---part deux--amazing!!

To refresh---the basket to my new airfryer slipped off my counter, to the floor and broke the handle completely off----it is the InstantPot brand of airfryer and it worked like a charm----called CS to ask about a replacement basket, they don't have replacement parts,----was told they would check to see if it was under warranty--its not---was told they could possibly send me a new machine as a good will gesture---they could not, but would give me a 30% discount on a new one--I decided that since it was just the handle, and there was a lip that my finger fit, that worked fine getting the basket in and out, I would decline their offer--------so-----I came home yesterday to find a brand new airfryer on my front porch!!!!!!!! No forewarning that it was coming----checked my bank acct to make sure I wasn't charged even tho I gave none of that info. No invoice in the box--just the new machine !!!! Amazing !!!

Sent a glowing email to CS thanking them!!!! I'm not on any social media so not able to tell the world about this great SC-----Amazing !!!!

I like happy stories..........they replace a Cooks Essential fryer but I knew it was coming. Problem: couldn't get basket to separate from the drawer. Believe several people had the same problem.

Even the 30% discount sounded good to me. I'm assuming the original accident was human error on the OP's part and not caused by a defect.

@AuntG---oh totally my fault---and I bought this airfryer on Black Friday at Macys, online, during a flash sale; was $49.99 and free shipping!!! Was a steal------with IP discount I would have paid $76.98 inc tax with free shipping----just didn't seem like I really needed a new one for that price.

@dex---its from the Instant Pot company----Instant Vortex--they have 2-- this one and one with more bells and whistles. Still amazed.

@dex-----I didn't know the IP people made airfryers either-----but the great price was what caught my eye---
