Please tell me what is Nutella?

It's a yummy thick chocolate hazelnut spread. Very popular in England. Their are no whole nuts in it. It's good on toast and an apple slice. There recipes on the Internet.

I wrote a reply saying how much I liked it - THEN - I realized I hadn't tried Nutella - I use Biscoff Spread. Which is very good too.

Nutella .. had some tonight on a waffle for dessert. It's a sweet chocolate hazelnut spread.

I find it odd they are trying to sell this as part of a "balanced breakfast" lately. Nutella is like spreading a candy bar on your toast. Oh yeah, that will get the kids hyped up in the morning.

It's kind of a chocolate spread. A kind of alternative to peanut butter. Tastes better, but is loaded with sugar. You can fat just looking at it. It's not an American company. It was originally an Italian company. I don't know if it still it. Years ago they got in to trouble by claiming it was healthy for you (It's not) For a while after that, you could hardly find it in the store. Now they've made a comeback.

At least peanut butter has more protein and it's first ingredient isn't sugar.

Ferrero is the company that makes Nutella and the Rocher Hazelnut Chocolates. They both taste similar to me.

All I can say is that it is loaded with sugar and it is delicious. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it.........that's when I realized how much sugar it contains

I started eating this in Europe in the 80s when i was living with my relatives there. I used to love it, but it's really high in fat and sugar, so not really the best thing to eat on a regular basis.

I had not tasted it my entire life until my teen asked for it. All I can say is....I COULD EAT THE ENTIRE JAR!! It is yummy, like soft chocolate. I guess it has some nutrients in it, who cares, its delicious!!

Well, then I'm in the minority with you. I tried it once years ago and it was horrible. I threw it out.

I've never had it either. Based on the ingredients, I never will. I do not eat sugar.
