Frankly, a lot of worrying about what's in every single thing you eat might be worse for you in terms of stress. But, I'm no doctor.

Just discovered that Landies Candies 21-Piece Merry & Bright Collection Pretzels have Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. I'm so disappointed. It produces trans fats which are very bad for your health. " Hydrogenated vegetable oils’ trans fats have been shown to harm heart health. Studies reveal that trans fats can increase levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol while decreasing good HDL (good) cholesterol, both of which are risk factors for heart disease (12Trusted Source).

Other studies link high trans fat intake to a higher risk of heart disease and stroke.

The only oils we use for anything is avacado and coconut oil...

We also don't buy processed foods made with any type of vegetable/canola/soybean oils because they cause inflammation.

We choose not to use olive oil because we don't like the taste.

A youtube video to watch for those interested:

Which cooking oils are safe (which to avoid) by Dr Ken Berry

These are in a lot of processed food, so good for you if you don't eat any of that. I had been on the lookout of "partially hydrogenated oil" for some time but just became aware of the fully hydrogenated.

However, this rule doesn’t take full effect until 2020, and hydrogenated vegetable oils are still present in many pre-packaged and processed foods."
