      <description>&lt;P&gt;I made some egg salad today.&amp;nbsp; I thought I'd pass along my quick way of cutting the eggs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just put the boiled peeled eggs in a bowl and use my pastry cutter/blender to chop them.&amp;nbsp; You can do them as chunky or a fine as you want.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I find this quicker than using a knife.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any kitchen tips or shortcuts you would like to share?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I use my can punch to open the seals on jars that I don’t have enough muscle for.I just get the pointed tip under the lids edge and pop the seal.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I use a butter knife. I live alone and tried everything else and the butter knife popped the seal, saving me from having to ask a neighbor to open my spaghetti sauce. I'll have to try the can opener trick, as I'm always worried that the butter knife is so thin it will break.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That's how I have always done it, and how my mother has always done it.&amp;nbsp; She also chops her potatoes for potato salad that way.&amp;nbsp; I like my potatoes a little chunkier in potato salad, so I don't use it for those, but&amp;nbsp; I do use it for left-over potatoes that I'm going to fry.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I moisten a couple of slices of bread with just a little water, gently squeez the water out and tear it to pieces, add some onion, salt, pepper, and the potatoes that I chopped with the pastry cutter and fry it all up.&amp;nbsp; My mom made these when I was a kid.&amp;nbsp; They're my favorite.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well not sure if you can still buy these, I use a can opener like they used to use to punch a hole in a soda can years ago or lift off the bottle cap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You just take the pointed end and put it on a jar lid by the place that latches it.&amp;nbsp; When pressed down it breaks the seal and voila!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also put plastic grocery bags in empty tissue boxes so they're stored somewhat neatlly until I need to use one.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
