Milk Street's recipes have typically been pretty good, but I find the show to be quite hit or miss—it's either really entertaining or really boring.

I've watched Milk Street on TV and listened on radio / podcast. I don't mind Chris Kimball; he's kind of dry and unfunny but that's okay. I prefer his ATK cast over the Milk Street cast, but will be patient with the Milk Street folks. Sara Moulton is on Milk Street, so that's a big positive. Milk Street's focus is on foods from around the world, with exotic ingredients, so it's interesting but not very practical.

I think it's sort of a day late and a dollar short because foods from around the world have been done and done, by everyone from Anthony Bourdain to about everyone else.

We eat lots of foods that would have been unknown 10 or 15 years ago, including spices and breads, peppers, etc. etc.

These shows seem to be things we mostly wouldn't cook even though we love Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern foods and cook a lot of things either real recipes or our take on it through spices and ingredients.

The best thing about Milk Street is that it's now Chris Kimball's home. Good riddance to the crank.

With his parting comment that "there's only so much you can do with an oatmeal cookie," and his digs, since he left, at regional American cuisine, it's clear that he thinks he's floating above that in favor of global cuisine.

I much prefer the personable Bridget and Julia, anyway. ATK/CK are better without him.

He acts like he discovered foreign foods and flavors. Where has he been the last 15 or 20 years? Just out in Vermont woods?

I like the shows so much better without him--yes cranky and hated how all the women had to look at him and put up with him. And laugh at his "jokes."

I am a fan of ATK, but admit I don't watch as much as I did when Christopher was with the show. He has a long pedigree, and brought his wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to the show. His unassuming demeanor only added to his preppy personality. I followed him to Milk Street, and although it is a bit subdued, I have seen recipes presented in a way I had not previously. I think Milk Street is still struggling to find it's niche, but once it does, it will reign competitively among the heavy hitters.

~~~All we need is LOVE💖
