Has anyone tried the bison from HSN?

I see it is their TS and many have been sold. I am not sure about the texture and how it tastes.

I purchase bison at my local grocery store. I have had the bison steaks and the ground bison.

It's tasty and very low in fat. It is very tender and the steaks cut with a butter knife. It does not have a strong or gamey taste. I use it like beef in recipes.

I have never ordered bison or any food from HSN.

The burgers were good and that was about it.

I bought the package deal and probably threw out over half of it, sad but true.

The sausage links didn't taste good, the hotdogs were tolerable, burgers were good but overall, I think it's a matter of taste, you like it or you don't.

I buy bison locally, it's pricey compared to burger but so good. The price is way better than Tony's. I read the reviews on the burgers & dogs & they are not good. Seems the quality has gone down since he began selling it. I would like to find a roast. Bison does not have game taste like deer does. I would compare it to elk which is also yummy. I also read that the meat contains soy & milk. I want all meat.

Ditto. I can get it fresh at Whole Foods as well as another store here. Even Costco sells bison but I've never tried theirs.
