I've had many over the years because I thought they were cute, however I have to agree with @Kachina624 , none were air tight, to keep the cookies fresh.

Since they didn't serve their purpose, they were just big knick knacks that I didn't have countertop space for I donated them.

I think I have about 20 of them. I keep mine on display in a china hutch in my diningroom.

I have one that was made in the 1930's and others were made in the later years. I think quite a few of them came from the 50's and 60's.

I just love my cookie jars. A few came from my grandmother and others from my mother. I have never put cookies in them. I realize they are just dust collectors but each one has a special meaning to me. I don't think I could ever get rid of them.

I'm not really a big collector of things, but unique cookie jars are my weakness. I'm sure your collection of Disney cookie jars are beautiful.

I have one cookie jar. I got it in 1968 from Nestle's Toll House Cookies. I saved up 10 cellophane bags and sent them in with a coupon from Woman's Day magazine. It is the old original toll house with a sign on the front of the house saying Nestle Toll House. It was free! I don't usually use it as we're not much for cookies and I rarely bake anymore. However, I love the looks of that old thing and the memories it holds. My granddaughter wants it when I die. I offered to give it to her now but she likes seeing it displayed on my old baker's rack. If I knew how to post a picture, I would.
