A really good Fall supper!

It is very chilly here, supposed to get a freeze tonght. DD stopped at my favorite grocery store on the way home and brought home a quart of their chili. They make it just like mine. It's cheaper than I could make at home. Instead of crackers she got me Fritos Scoops. I had a spoon but used the Fritos as the vehicle to get the chili to my mouth. Perfect Fall supper. Good grief, it doesnt take much to make me happy.

That made me hungry! I love chili, and I love any kind of corn chip with it. You have a very thoughtful daughter enjoy!

Chili weather here, too. Making it for dinner on Monday for my family..

We crumble Doritos on top with the cheese and sour cream.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Bless your DD! We love chili. I think my DH would eat chili 24x7x365 if he could. Of course it would blow the roof off of our house, if you know what I mean! Hahaha!

That sounds so good, and it was sweet of your dd to stop and get it. How awesome that they make it like you make yours!

Today has been our first taste of fall and I have enjoyed it. Makes me in the mood for chilli.

we allso dropped into the 30s for the first time this season. chili totally sounds good when it gets chili out. wednesday we were hot and humid and thursday it dropped way dowm and i put on sweat pants and a sweat shirt and maria had a heavy sweater on.

I love making my deiicious vegetarian chili for dinner in the Fall. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top and finish the bowl!

MMMmmmm - I love chili. I love my own chili. I love to make chili.

I enjoy making my own because I love changing up my recipe every time I make, using different ground meats, different beans, different veggies, different spices to give varying degrees of flavors, heat.

Our weather here finally changed from heat to cool yesterday and I thought about making a big pot of chili. Yahoo it's chili making days again!!!

Wendys also makes a decent chili. Not spicy enough for me but I cut up some fresh peppers

Chili is one of my favorite foods and I could even eat it in the summer (I don't though). I have everything to make it but I always freeze the leftovers and I have no room in the freezer right now.

good afternoon everyone. this whole week should be cloudy cool and rainy. yestauday maria cooked a chicken and rice soup and today chicken fryed steak, mashed potatoes and corn. both were very good.hope everyone has a great week.

DH just said it was time to make some Chili. DH likes his made with chili meat & some top sirloin from the meat market.

It's getting cooler here. A front is moving in as I type. Suppose to get down in the 30's tonight.

I put a pot roast in the ducth oven earlier. It smells yummy in here. Can't wait for dinner.
