On Saturday I sorted thru all my Lock N Locks (my obsession). Tossed mismatched, old stained pieces, missing lids, etc...

And in the paper today was the funniest appropriate comic! My spouse left on counter when I got up🤣🤣

I think if I pulled out all of mine it would be enough to fill my dining room almost to the ceiling. I have one double cabinet in the kitchen, one single cabinet, one HUGE double cabinet in the laundry room, and at least 100 more that are in constant use in cabinets, 2 refrigerators, and 3 freezers.

Well, at least i'm not addicted to anything expensive.

That was just a "sampling" I couldn't bring myself to "look" at the boxes/drawers full of them😉🙄😳..

Funniest thing my gf sent me a text when I sent her comic: -

"Well, tell them to stop coming out with great new colors, pricing & shapes. I've got 3 new sets of copper coming".

I did send 2 sets to my son& DIL to start them with good containers - only 2 of us and rarely need containers for leftovers. I do use them for lots of other things!!

All I can say is, there are many L 'n L enthusiasts who must have huge storage space. I think I have about 6 pieces and that's all I need.

I'd be afraid to take a count of actual pieces I have.

We store at least 6 months supply of food, and I use a lot of glass mason jars for storage of some things but I have lots of my dry goods in the basement in lock and locks, and lots in the three freezers with baked goods, and meals made ahead.

After the kitchen renovation, I decided all food kept in the kitchen and pantry would be stored in lock and lock, and I'm switching it all to copper.

Yep, another of my many addictions.

We don't stock up on foods but my pantries are nothing but Lock n Lock. Whatever staple (like pasta, cookies, flour, etc) immediately get put in a LNL or glass mason jar.

I keep the exp. part of the box and top.

Living in FL the bugs love to invade ... so far not a bug in anything 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻!

(Must say drives my spouse crazy since he has trouble UNlocking them🤔)

Following a reorganizing of my cabinets one day I declared a moratorium on purchasing more L&L for awhile unless they put long & skinny pantry containers on a good sale .Then I glanced at the tv Sunday and they had the two mixing bowls with spouts and lids and I REALLY NEED those . My inner two year old told me so.

I love that cartoon! I didn't see this thread and I just posted that I organized my L n L today. Wow! I knew I had a lot, but it's even more than I thought. Plus I have those in use in my cupboards and freezer. No more buying. I still have a few in the clear and I use them for dog food, detergent, dishwasher soap, etc. I collect the purple shades and I sure have a lot. I have just a couple more to match-up with their lids and then I'm quitting that job for today. Hope I can keep them organized.

OP Why aren't you using all of those L&L containers you have pictured here? I have twice as many but they are all being used. I transfer all my food items, once I get home from grocery shopping, into my many collections of L&L containers. I love the look of my cupboards and my walk-in pantry with my L&L all lined up looking so neat and tidy.
