How do you keep the eggs from sticking to the bottom of the pot?

Even cooking with bacon grease, the eggs still stick.

It's a real pain to clean.

Sorry, but why would you use an Instant Pot to scramble eggs? Hard boiled, yes, but not scrambled. I imagine it would be like using any other stainless steel pan to clean, which is why I use a small pan on the stove to scramble eggs. Were you making a large amount?

You can use that to make scrambled eggs pretty easily. I have to agree with the other comments here that an Instant Pot is not going to be a very good option for scrambled eggs.

I have never made scrambled eggs, but I do make quiche in my instant pot, and it comes out perfect. I don't have a pan that fits inside, so I make one with foil first then parchment paper. You could make scrambled eggs like this too. I just pull the foil out and my pot is clean. I have done this using the pressure cooker, and the slow cooker.

So, if you have no stove, then I would agree with the suggestion to make them in the microwave. You can make them in a mug. But again, I am not sure that the Instant Pot is a good option for EVERYTHING. Good luck!

I think making scrambled eggs in an Instant Pot would be fine if the pot has a saute feature. Only downside is that the pot is stainless steel without a non-stick coating so eggs would probably stick without a sea of grease.

Have you tried a cooking spray like Pam?

Another thought. I've heard that scrambled eggs made in a double-boiler are creamy and heavenly, although they take some time to cook. You could do something like that in an Instant Pot. Put some water in the pot along with the rack. Get the water to boil with the saute feature. Put your scrambled egg mixture in an IP-safe bowl and place the bowl on the rack above the boiling water. It's something to try.

Am presently up late cooking a shredded beef roast in my Instant Pot for a relaxing Sunday dinner.

I can't imagine that. I use an inexpensive non-stick skillet, eggs that I gently scramble in the pan over moderate to low heat and the eggs don't taste bitter.

I gently "scramble" them with a silicone spatula, pushing them around and lifting them up so all of it runs under and cooks. they are fabulous, I can control the heat, it takes just a few minutes, rinse out the pan and I'm done.

I don't use my big oven anymore as it takes 22 minutes to heat up. I use my Breville counter top oven and use the big oven as storage. but I do use my ovens burners. Seems it would take a long time to prepare a whole meal in pressure cookers. No judging in any way , just curious.

I used and loved a NuWave Portable Induction Cooker which I loved. With that and a Breville Smart Oven there was nothing I couldn't make except a 25 lb. turkey. I highly recommend my NuWave PIC, but QVC has some other brands you might consider. I never missed having a stove.
