Those bowls are really pretty but I have a bias against plastic. I just prefer doing all mixing in glass or pottery bowls.

Stainless is best though.

Glass can be broken

Stainless will outlive the test of time

These might be stained, see what that girl says tonight, didn't want to take a chance they would blow out the door, so, 25 ain't gonna break me up.

@SharkE I bought these in KA yellow years ago. They are very handy .Mine have never stained. I love the stubby handle . I would like to use only glass etc. but am too clumsy to be trusted with breakables I also have Wolfgangs ss set ,but grab the KA most times. I frequently rinse them and use for little batches of dirty dishes from mixing --spoons cups ....

The pink are pretty !

Maybe when Q took over HSN he moved on.

When I called in told the CS gal "pink, or what you call 'guava glaze' LOL

Are you a pink addict ? I have a good friend who is totally “ pink “, even Christmas trees !

I happened to be at a Homegoods that got one of the chain’s special promotions on Retro Refrigerators. Theirs happened to be pink: called her up, she talked to the manager and got a great discount on it !

Kitchen aid does a good job on colors. Almost bought the pink SMEG mixer, but, in the end went with my red.

mmmmmmmmmm no, no not spending another over 400 just for the color. I need to go to Kitchen anonymous.

@SharkE Her colors are pink and orange...I already bought her a KA handmixer in orange so she's all set. Thank you for your suggestion though. Giggles.

@SharkE Heck, I'm in the Kitchen Anonyymous Group, too, maybe even a charter member! Love all things kitchen, small appliances, gadgets, kitchen linens.

If only my neighbors since I moved to DC realized when they throw a party they could just knock on my door to borrow things. I even have the gigantic Margaritaville mixer that I purchased here. Need a big platter? Stemless wine glasses for 12? A mezzaluna? Extra tongs? Box grater? Microplane for three sizes of zesting/shredding? Little chalk signs to write on that indicate type of food being offered? And on and on . . .

The only small appliance that I own that I still have not conquered is my Kitchen Aid food processor. I have only used it a couple of times and sometimes it's just easier to use a good knife.

Plus, my Vitamix is quicker for chopping things if I have to do a larger quantity. That and my KA stand mixer are two of my best investments ever.

So. no worries, @sharke, you have sooo much company in this category, and boy, don't we have so much fun, plus good things to eat?

LOL Yeah, DH doesn't like to see me happy is what I think. I pay for most of my items and the others are gifts from him for b'day and xmas. I'm not late on credit card bills or ever ask him to bail me out.
