@so so I have Temp-tations handled muffin pans and the large heart shaped muffin pan. I have been making things with these for at least a year and almost on a weekly basis. I butter them or butter and flour them depending on what I'm making. For zucchini bread, I butter and flour. For breakfast frittatas, I just use butter. The key is to let them cool slightly and then run a knife around the edge before removing. I have ruined all my nonstick pans trying to do the egg dishes. Now I only use Temp-tations. And, I have bought them for family and friends.

I LOVE the jumbo muffin pan from Temptations. the first few times I used it the muffins came right out. Yesterday I made a Martha Stewart recipe, Cinnamon strussel muffins and the whole batch stuck to the pans. the first one came out in pieces. Oh I get so mad when stuff does not go right...... I took a cookie sheet and inverted the rest of the muffins and left them over night. They came out with a struggle but in one piece.

so the question is.........Anyone that uses these muffin tins have trouble or do you just automatically spray them? My first instinct was to spray them, like every other muffin tin I own....just curious.. by the way......the recipe is as good or better that JIMMYS coffee cakes!!!!

I have had so many problems with Temptations, I stopped buying. I always spray any pan I am using, Temptations or others. The temptations have all cracked and broke after a year or so. The last ones I got were 3 different size trays and 2 of them cracked and broke in the oven after 4 or 5 uses. Now Tara has new white dishes she is selling on her web site. For years she has been stating that her line isn't like the boring whiteware and now she has it. Quality has gone out the door in her line and her customer service is awful. Very rude people.

I made a batch of carrot cake muffins and it was a giant, stuck-on mess. Nothing of it was salvageable. I learned my lesson and I spray or butter everything, including my Temptations bakers.

I have several similar recipes, because that's a favorite in my house. I'm not sure if I have the recipe you're referencing. If you could post it, that would be great.

I'm not much of a baker, but I do use my temptations loaf pan for meatloaf. It does not stick at all, unlike the Pyrex glass pans I've been using for years. Go figure. I must qualify this result by saying this was a sealed box of Temptations I got at an estate auction and you can tell by the "mix" that it was an early offering. There were wire racks and flat trays for lids.

@so so - When baking, I always spray just the bottom surface of my stoneware pieces (whether Temp-tations or another brand) with canola or vegetable oil from a mister; I'm not a fan of the chemicals in the canned oil sprays and I've found that they leave a residue over time no matter what material you use them on. When cooking, I never spray the pans, and I've never had any issues—that's where the truth of the "naturally nonstick" stoneware is apparent because there aren't as many sugars crystallizing.
