Ninja Foodie observation

Thought I would bake canned biscuits without turning on the big wall oven, so, I read where you preheat the foodi for 5 min. Bake for 6 (jumbo biscuits)

Turned out perfect.

Another point for the Foodi. Really glad it's meeting my expectations.

I've pressure cooked, air fryed and now baked biscuits all in one machine gave it a work out since I bought last Thurs.

I'm following your progress with the Ninja Foodie, @SharkE . Im still lovin' me NuWave oven, but when that dies I'll consider the Foodie as a possible gift to myself. 🎁

I've did a chuck roast, (shouldn't of used the air crisp I learned that) done the roast great, but, dummy Shark had to brown it it dried it out that air crisper is one strong do dad LOL

Did a chicken showed that picture done it well.

Did french fries that was really great. No deep frying, no half gallon of oil to heat up and have to dispense with, spray the frozen fries with veg oil and air fry for 8-10 minutes. You can lift the air crisping lid all You want to during the process to however brown you prefer. It retains temp and time left so you don't have to reset the machine.

Did canned biscuits put in rack place in the pot set temp to 350' and timed my jumbo biscuits for 6 minutes. Since I used jumbo size just got in 4.

Regular biscuits could probably do 6. As fast as they cook fix 4-6 at a time while your eating the first 4 or 6 the others will be done in few minutes

I've got the 6 qt one, if you get the bigger one probably do a bigger batch at a time.

Thanks for sharing @SharkE I was thinking about getting the Ninja Foodie for my mom...this sounds like a good kitchen all-in-one. I just brought her a 6QT Instant Pot but this sounds even better!

Wish they would make them in colors. Q might introduce them down the line, but, got tired of waiting and wanted it before I went to nursing home. LOL

I got 12 ft long counter with a ledge on top of the counter where I put all my kitchen helps. Like I stated before the Foodi isn't for the weak folk. If it was light I would think it flimsy and cheaply made, so, being 'heavy' doesn't bother me. I use to cut and load firewood from logs, so, I'm no stranger to heavy stuff.

I'm glad I bought mine who wants to turn on oven in Tx heat let the Foodi pressure cook it, take that out , then, take the lid off, lower the air fry lid and air fry french fries or salmon, etc. I hope I can do green tomatoes this summer in it no frying in oil.

I'm sure at some point I will have to have one, but I need to just get comfortable with pressure cooking in general. I'd like to see some recipe books specifically aimed at the Foodi too.

I already have an Instant Pot, an air fryer, an Instant Pot Aura Pro & a Breville Smart Oven, so this doesn't sound like something I need. God knows I have enough kitchen small electric appliances as it is!

They do give you a pretty good instruction materials in the box give them that.

I always liked Ninja products. Got their blender it's great.

air fryer makes great 'fried' potatoes made Sat.

I can't get the knack of potato chips though. In any of the air fryers I've had

Better leave that to Frito-Lay or my dutch oven with veg oil and feed to hubbo. Not that great on home made chips anyway.

fried potatoes, I peel, slice with mandolin ,(preheat fryer for 5 minutes while your doing this ) spray the basket, throw in slices spritz with oil and salt if you want . I timed mine between 5-7 min. No frying in skillet of crisco

turned out really well.

Thing I like most about the Ninja foodi is when air frying you can lift the lid and check on how brown food is getting without having to reset machine.

It retains time and temp, lower the lid it powers back up.

Glad I got mine at such a great price !

So glad you are enjoying your Foodie, I love mine. Have chicken soup in mine right now and it smells delicious. I used a whole chicken and the recipe that was posted here last week. Can't wait it should be ready for lunch!

I found a Foodie cover for mine on Amazon. They are hand made and have several different styles. I got the red, white and blue top with a blue bottom, it is perfect with my temptations fireworks pattern items. Happy Mothers to all!

I love that one! Was that on Amazon or elsewhere? I keep the regular pressure cooker lid stored on top of the Foodi - is it tall enough for that?

Thanks. Yes you can mention other sites. I did find it on Etsy, plus some other patterns I like also. I did send a message to the seller.
