My husband eats them for a mid day snack at work; he is fortunate to not have to worry about the fat. I would think some of the fat comes from the nuts. I am not so fortunate, so I stay away from these. It is good to see free s/h. being offered.

There are a lot of nuts in Kind Bars, so they do have fat calories...but these are the healthy types of fats that fill us up and satisfy our appetites.

I buy them at Trader Joe's for less $$$...but my store has a limited selection, so I'm happy to pay a few cents more and get these other flavors.

I would suggest that you read the nutritional information before buying. Yes they are tasty and have mostly natural ingredients. If you eat one every day as a snack you will gain weight. Dried fruit and nuts have a lot of fat and sugar.

I want to try the pomegranate blueberry pistachio. $2 is too much since you can buy them for less.

I buy the one with 4g of sugar, but remember that there is natural fructose in the fruit, so you have to look at the ingredients list and see what type of sugar is added sugar and where it falls on the list.

If it's the first ingredient, that's not good. But if it's burried close to the bottom, that means there is very little added sugar.

Same with fat. You have to look at the type of fat (trans fact, saturated fat, etc.). Low saturated fat is better, no transfat is best).

I would like them to make half size bars. If I have some left over from traveling, I cut them in half and seal them with my Food Saver.
