I also like to hear what Tara has to say. She gets interrupted too often for color updates and does not get to finish a thought or to explain the dish she just pulled out of the oven. These should not be discounted as they are a part of the whole lifestyle she is promoting. I like her because she is a classy lady who does not screech at you ala Susan Graver. I would also like to know, like other people, why she says everything is non stick when she is on TV and yet many of the recipes online, say to spray a non stick coating or use butter or shortening. It took me a long time to decide to buy. Before I did, I watched all of her presentations. I like her products and hope for more Floral Lace and Vintage Grace.

Dear Tara (if you read these posts), I appreciate my purchases from your line, and you come across to me as a lovely person. I'd like to suggest that you consider slowing down just a bit as you describe your products on air. For me, fast talk becomes a sort of blur -- or whatever the audio equivalent is of a blur. It's hard for me to focus and absorb the relevant bits of information I need to decide whether to buy. In addition, talking fast seems to lead to a lot of repetition, especially of a few overused adjectives, and to a kind of monotone sound. When you talk to David, however, your conversational voice is quite natural and sincere. I can certainly appreciate how hard it must get to describe the same things over and over without sliding into a kind of autopilot, singsongy, rapid speech pattern. I've done a lot of public speaking, and have struggled with this myself. But I'd enjoy your presentations so much more at a more relaxed pace.

So kind, and well said. I think those of us who watch every presentation have noticed the "over scripted" style, and I think Tara, who has a real vested interest in the design and manufacture of these products, could speak more personally about the product, and less scripted. I'm sure a lot of what is said and done during presentations is directed by QVC, but I'd like to see Tara be allowed to be a little more herself and see just where these presentations go.
