Happened to see this on the kitchen show early this morn...I'm a "late-blooming" home cook (never interested for years, now I love it!) who was originally inspired and learned from many Food Network chefs on tv, and have a few favorite books and the FN website I cook from...(and my own family recipes too.)

I like Meredith...she's mellow and easy to watch and seems to know her stuff, without tons of ego about it...but wasn't that interested, I thought, in getting another book (you only actually get to so many of your cookbook recipes!) But after watching the presentation, I bought it...it looks great! And I just checked online it is not only Cust. Top Rated but has a 100% rating, something you don't see often here. I was impressed by the content, the layout and the recipes...along with the angle of taking some of the all-time favorites, plus then adding 2-3 variations on them, and the tips sections with tip-index.

Any others out there who have this and love it? Those who don't but love to cook, or feel they need help, I recommend you check it out online~j's sayin'...

Congrats, Meredith, on the book's success~hope to see more from you.
