Sorry, I don't know of any other brands that are even similar and certainly not of the same quality. I love my Corelle Quilt pattern, long discontinued. Got it to replace dinnerware lost in an earthquake in 1994. Have been using it ever since. Have added a few pieces of plain white.

I would like to have a few pieces of Fiesta dinnerware but now have so little storage space. The lightweight Corelle works much better, and I really love my old Quilt pattern.

@AuntG - Just to confirm, did you check out the Corelle website rather than just local stores? I only ask because several years ago, I also needed new dishes and really wanted Corelle again, but I couldn't find anything appealing locally. It turned out that one of the designs that only seemed to be available online (and I've only seen it pop up on Amazon and ebay once or twice since) was perfect for me, and I was able to buy a nice service for 12 with additional serving pieces for a great price. It is all, unsurprisingly, still going strong.

You could also try the AmazonBasics collections, most of which are fairly lightweight stoneware in classic designs.

I had Corelle dishes for many years. They held up well. In fact when I got my Corelle dishes there were 3 styles, white, gold and green. I got the green and shortly after I bought the green they came out with a blue that I really liked.

Then I really liked Lenox Summer Terrace. So I bought the whole set plus accessories. They have also held up very well. They have not chipped. But people have broken a dish here and there. But I bought extras so I still am in good shape. I must say I spent a small fortune on all the serving plates, serving dishes, and assorted sizes not included in the sets.

So I decided my next set I am going back to Corelle. Corelle is lightweight and durable.

Found designs I like but not in the colors I want. Saw a blue/ gray set but I'd like shades of burgundy or brown. One design I saw while browsing is the Corelle Twilight Grove, which a friend of mine uses; it has some nice tones of burgundy and grey. I believe it was just recently discontinued, so if you like it, you can probably still compare prices online before buying or potentially find it in stock at a local superstore.

We seem to use a lot of bowls, so I've accumulated enough Corelle and use them every day, along with their luncheon plates that are the perfect size for me. I suppose there are similar brands out there, but Corelle has withstood the test of time. Great product!

When Corning outlet closed I bought white square Corelle. I figure I will change with placemats etc.
Corelle is so practical and durable. Also made in US. That Corelle store gad a beautiful red pattern that I admired. It’s worth pursuing.

I still have the original set of Corelle I got for in my hope chest back in 1978, and have added to it over the years (Old Towne Blue). I still love it as much today as I did back then.

@AuntG , have you considered looking on places like ebay to see some older patterns. If those originals from the 1970's aren't your thing, there were many made in the 80's and 90's that are discontinued, but still available in the secondary market that you might like.

I've actually accumulated over time, the older patterns in three different patterns now, full sets with accessories. I change them out for different seasons. I really love how space saving they are, how strong, how they look good for decades, and I don't get tired of the patterns either.
