I have both the Kitchenaid and the Breville ovens. Breville makes the ovens in a variety of sizes. I have the large one thatt I purchased mainly for holiday cooking and baking but I find that I use it every week. (I have that one in the kitvchenette off the family room) I find that I prefer that oven for pizza as well.

The Kitchenaid I purchased because my oven is old and cranky and I am not ready to purchase a new stove. I have very limited counter top space so this oven fits on the smallest spot. It works well....enough for the price and use. I use it every day at least once if not twice.

I like the even cooking and easy access to the inside. It's nice to be able to just glance over and see how your food is progressing. It really does a nice job with both baking and cooking.

I don't think you can go wrong with either bran. Let your budget be your guide. The other brand that caught my eye was the double door Oster. I like the conveninece of that door but measure your counter space before purchasing any oven. You need to allow room for the door swing and some place to put your mitts or your food when you are removing them from the oven.

I replaced my Oaster counter top oven with the Cuisinart which has many settings, inc convection baking and convection broiling and air fry.

the convection sound is very soft, unlike louder ones. the air fryer is the best ever: large, easy to clean unlike the previous air fryer I had.

love the multi-function, cooks very fast and would replace in a nano second should something happen to it.

I have both small appliances and rarely use the air fryer, I do use my Kitchen Aid convection oven almost daily though. My convection oven is quiet and makes a difference IMO how moist the food turns out. If you like fried foods, the air fryer would be a good choice. I do like the way the air fryer cooks frozen french fries and egg rolls, but we only have those once in a blue moon.

I make incredible roasted veggies and pizza comes out crispy on top too with the convection on. Things like biscuits are great using the convection. I usually use it about 1/2 thru the cooking time. I think the key is NOT to crowd the things you want crisp or browned--too much moisture and not enough circulation- My big ovens stores the stuff for my Breville---have been on and off about getting an air fryer. I need to see one in operation and taste what comes out of it first---don't really need anymore appliances tho----
