This one dehydrates also. HSN does very well explaining about it on their demos.

My sister has one in black and loves it. She gave her air fryer to her daughter.

The best price I have seen and they have colors.

Just a heads up for anyone looking for one at a good price.

I have no counter space and this looks huge. I would consider,it, I just don't have the room.

Just ordered one in Cinnamon. It will fit in the space I currently have a Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer - altho I will keep the Air Fryer around since it has a larger basket. I figure it will pay for itself since I buy pork jerky for my dog.. will be able to make it myself with the dehydrator.

I watched the entire hour long presentation. The deal breaker for me was the size - the fact that the one very large lid for air frying could not be taken off while using for pressure cooking, slow cooking, etc. That big lid would constantly be in my way... Sigh

I would have to pull the machine out from under the cabinet but I don't think the attached air fryer cover would be a problem once its out. I also found a website that sells a cover for it where you can store the pressure cooking cover on top of the air fryer cover. I am going to look into that.

I watched it last night. The food looked so yummy. ITA it's huge.

I downloaded the recipe booklet. Guess I can do the same thing in my pressure cooker & finish in my air fyrer.

Had already found a wing recipe to pressure cook first then put in air fryer or oven to finish.

Those wings & chicken looked delish not to mention the grilled chesse at the end. YUM!!!

It looks like it would be a bad idea unless it was used on the kitchen island. And it looks heavy and bulky. Any one have this that can give me answers to the negative side ?Very seldome do they gives the weight of products. For older people it is very necessry to know.

Weight is almost 26 pounds. That’s like lifting more than 3 gallons of water or milk at once. Much too heavy to store and lifting out from a kitchen cabinet. Especially in a lower cabinet. I passed on it.

Product weight on Best Buy shows it's 24.9 lbs. Amazon shows it's 25.8 lbs.

Can't believe it's not listed on the Ninja site or at least I did not see it?

My friend has had hers for a few months and she told me it's too small for her needs. She just bought the larger 8-qt version (exclusive on Ninja's site) and is giving the smaller one to her DIL. My friend said the basket part is what is too small for her and otherwise the pressure cooker part is fine.

I have looked at this at a store so many times but it was $250.00! Today it is $231.00 "on sale" there. This price is a steal!

I think the TV is making it look bigger than it is. It is not any bigger than a medium sized 6 quart pressure cooker. It is smaller than those big 8 quart pressure cookers QVC/HSN sell.

I think what make it look big is that fryer cover. The whole frying system motor is encased in that cover, hence the size of it.

I really want it, I am just trying to justify it. I have a pressure cooker, and I have a 5.5 qt air fryer. I just mentioned the other day to someone that I am worried about when my air fryer dies because I use it every single day. Replacing that would be $119. (based on gettting a comparable to what I have). I feel like the fyer temp on mine is already not as high as it was when I bought a year ago (and used every day). I have been having to add minutes to what used to be what I used to use for time.

There are more than 431 reviews at this store and the average rating is 4.6 stars. Reading the reviews, there are very few negatives. That is at the $250.00 price too!

The ONE downside I see (for me) is the air fryer pan is only 4 qts. With air frying, there has to be air gaps between the food or the air does not circulate well. They keep showing 2 pounds of french fries in the presentation, and they look a little dark. I make french fries all the time (or sweet potatoe fries) and if I piled that many in my 5.5 qt they would burn, so I don't know if the foodie has a better air circulating system than mine?

What to do, what to do......

Dehydration requires using the dehydration rack, a separate purchase. @Nightowlz

I just looked at the 8 quart on Ninja site and it is $279.00

8 quart pressure cook bucket, and 5 quart air fryer. Doesn't look like a huge outside size difference, but I would never pay $279. when this is a "want", not really a "need".

Nice to know there is a larger option for people who need it though.

Now I am wondering why such a huge price drop for the TSV? Usually when the price is too good to be real, it is usually because a new model is coming out and they sell off unused inventory through the shopping channels.

Sigh.

I had a 3.5 quart air fryer when I started using this way of cooking and it was way too small. Upped to a 5.5 quart, which is good for me.

This Ninja would bring me back down to 4 quart fryer.

Exactly @gabstoomuch . My friend wanted to buy the larger 8-qt but it was sold out at that time so she ended up buying the small one at Kohl's for $130! They had it on sale right before Christmas and she used a coupon to get it down that low. She said after using it for all this time, she was convinced it was a good appliance and worth paying for the bigger 8-qt...so she did and is waiting for it to be delivered from Ninja as we speak.

eta - I bought the Foodi cookbook for her birthday. That will sell out...the host said it will.

I saw this today at Walmart. It is huge, bulky, heavy. I have no room on countertop for this and to drag it out each time I wanted to use it would be a pain in the a$$. No thank you.

Yes, it's very heavy. I have it and would not have bought it if I didn't have counter space for it - which I do. When using it it is not too difficult to pull out from under the upper cabinet. However, when using as a slow cooker or pressure cooker you have to leave the crisping lid open - it can't be detached.

One other thing if you are pressure cooking - even though I pull it out from under the upper cabinet the steam release shoots the steam directly up onto my cabinet. Luckily my kitchen island is just a couple of feet from the counter top so I am now just moving the foodi over to the island when pressure cooking. This might be too difficult if you have any trouble at all with weight.

I like it because it has a minimum number of control buttons and is very easy to use. But I agree it is not an appliance for everyone.

The only time I will need the larger air fryer basket is for a large whole chicken so I will keep my air fryer around for that. Otherwise, I love the idea of the convenience of going right from pressure cooking to crisping. I have never done that manually (altho I could if I wanted) and I think the final product will be better than just air frying. I also plan to make dog jerky with the dehydrator - and I spend a lot of money on that right now.

FYI - all four colors are available this AM at $199. Still a good price.
