I am wondering how many of you eat Salmon on a regular basis? The consensus from nutritionists is that we should consume Salmon at least three times weekly. I am not a huge fan of the fish but I do prepare baked Salmon steaks at least once a week. There just isn't anyway that I could eat it three times in one week. I do however make other types of fish during the course of a week. I limit meat to only once or twice weekly.

Are there any Salmon fans here? If so, how often do you prepare it?

I love salmon- and probably have it 2 or 3 times a week. I buy a huge piece form Costco and cook it immediately- without any seasoning. I love the flavor on it's own! I cut it into portions to freeze, it's the easiest lunch to pack for work!

Love salmon but will only eat wild caught in the fresh salmon choices. It is more expensive than the farm raised variety but is so much better and no need to worry about pollutants. Happily Trader Joe's has wild smoked salmon so can eat that if wild caught fresh is not available in the markets or if I can't afford it. You will taste the differnce if you try wild caught versus farm raised.

Just BBQ'd a piece last night. I buy the flash frozen vacuum packed slices from Costco. My dh does not like Salmon, so when I BBQ his burger, I put a slice of salmon in foil and place it at the back of the BBQ.

We eat it often, but never more than once a week unless there are leftovers.

I prefer salmon fillets to steaks, and often just bake it in the oven with lemon & seasonings.

I love love love salmon. But, it must be wild-caught Alaskan King Salmon for me. Consequently, I don't get it that often. Sometimes I purchase from an operation up in Alaska, but it's spendy.

Every now and then, my high-end grocery store gets it in and I might snag some there. I do have some vac-sealed in my freezer. It's time I had salmon again!

While seafood is very good for us, I'm sure we all know that too much of a good thing IS too much of a good thing, so a couple times a week is probably best.

ETA - I do use OmegaFactors brand Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil. Hopefully it helps with a few of my conditions. I get it through Amazon.
