@SharkE. I got an IP during the Prime Sale in July. Its still in the box as I've been using my CE pressure cooker.

Head on over to Six Sister's Stuff on YouTube or their blog site. They do tons of practical IP recipes. Here is their YT channel https://www.youtube.com/user/SixSistersStuff

They do have tons of things. There are so many IP blogs and YT channels so just get a nice cuppa something and snuggle down to watch some YT to learn all the great things you can do in it and a notepad to either write it down, bookmark the links and/or print the recipes.

The facebook InstantPot page is great too! So many great ideas- I got mine on Wednesday and used one of the recipes for ribs..SO good so easy...I love how you can rub them, pressure cook above the liquid, then broil-so yummy in 25 minutes... the recipe is from @iwashyoudry and came highly recommended...

I also got the Instant Pot in Red and have yet to open it as my Dad now says he would like one. After consideration of the size, I really think the 8qt would be better suited for my needs, so I will give my Dad the TSV. Question - does anyone know if and where there are 8qt Instant Pots in Red? I know the color shouldn't matter, but if it is available, I would like it in red. Thanks so much!

I went to Instantpot.com and did a live chat and the gal said

"we only at this moment have the 6qt pots in red".

she said possible in the future might make in red, but, looks like depending on how bad you want that color you might have to settle for black

Mine is sitting home on the couch in Tx . I'm on way to Ind as we speak

staying the night in Misouri. I bought the book with me though to read in the car

probably a pot roast and northern beans down the road. LOL
