Whats up with Rachaels hands and forarms? There are marks on backs and fronts of both arms. I know she says she burns herself alot, but they look more like small bruises. I also know she has a large dog.I hadnt noticed them before but she does have her sleeves rolled up today and she isnt trying to hide them at all. As a professional, I cant believe these are all scars from burns. There aren't any close shots to really tell what they are .

Hey spunky23,

Had I watched the show, I would have been curious too. I realize that ALOT of folks here on these boards are not curious about such things. What amazes me is that they are not curious about actual "bruising" but they are curious about a "post on bruising". Having a big dog myself, I would think that a jumping pup could cause some bruising. Being curious is not a bad thing.

I did hear part of the show and thought she had a sore throat.

Spunky...I'm going to "ignore user" on a couple of these posters...suggest you do also.

Sometime, excessive or easy bruising can be related to a health issue, and those who like and follow Rachael, will I'm sure care about her health, and wonder about something like this, even if it really isn't anyone's business unless Rachael wants to talk about it.

Why is it that almost every post has snarky posters? They try to reverse things and make the OP the bad guy. I think there are a lot of unhappy people these days....so sad.

I noticed her arms too - thought - hasn't she worked around a stove long enough to know how NOT to burn herself?

Voice - appearance - hanging hair over food = a mess.

For several months now, I and many others have been unable to report an opening post. If I try to do so, I get that box for just a second and then some message about a directory denied or something.

I can still report a post on a thread, just can't post the thread starter.

I've been cooking for 50 plus years and I still burn myself. Why? Because I get lazy and grab something with a dish towel, just like Emeril does. So I brush my hand or arm on the other oven rack or pan. What I should be doing is putting on the silicone mitts I have. I''m thinking a lot of these TV people also use a towel because it's just faster.

I never noticed. There is nothing wrong with being curious about something. It's going to get so that people will stop posting because there are people who are so mean to others.

I will pay more attention. Never noticed. Don't mind you being curious.

Oh, for cryin' out loud, grow up. What's with the need to act like the pc police? It's getting so that if anyone posts anything anymore, someone's going to get their panties in a wad over something or other.
