I've bought 2 AC grill pans & had to throw them both out!! At $100+ a pan it's expensive. The grill pans rusted & I make sure they are put away dry.In fact I put them my cooled off oven to make sure they are dry. Both pans, rust. I sent them into AC & complained. Their customer service wasn't any help. Never again AC!!!

Even boiling water, a water mark is left and using soap & H20 doesn't get rid of the mark. Major scrubbing is needed to keep these pans looking shiny & new. I HATE All-Clad.

Hey Sooner, maybe. My pans are 20+ years old so they are old technology.

But some dishes you need hot, hot heat, as you say stir fry, cooking meat, fish with a good sear. Medium heat doesn't do it or it takes way too long. The oil/grease line one gets with frying leaves a nasty film which doesn't come off easy by simple putting H20 in & turning on the heat.

AC recommends Bar Keeper's helper but it's a waste of time & $. I use comet & brillo pads to scrub. As I mentioned even water from steaming veggies. Leaves a horrible water mark that any other pan you could simply use soap & hot H20 & the line is gone. Not so with AC. Hate my pans. Plus they are so heavy. The newer technology AC may be better. I just don't recommend this brand.

I like using my All Clad pans. To remove the white deposits that you may get on the pans from boiling water I'd recommend boiling a vinegar and water solution for a few mins and then let it cool and rinse. The white deposits are mineral deposits from water and it happens on all of my stainless steel cookware. Good luck with your purchase, I hope you'll enjoy using them as much as I do mine.

I can't believe I used to buy all the cheapy brands and wonder why I had to throw them away a few years later. My All Clad is years old and honestly looks brand spanking new! I throw it in my dishwasher and "walla" it comes out all sparkling brand new looking! Its worth every penny.
