@flbettyboop I had to laugh when I saw your post!

I must confess, several years ago (and I wasn't even that old then..) I parked my car in the mall parking lot. I'm not a big mall shopper and not used to all the entrances. I bought what I had to and couldn't wait to get out of the mall. Inside the mall, you generally don't know what the weather is doing outside since it's usually so noisy. With that said, I got to the exit door, not realizing it was the wrong exit, and discovered it was pouring rain. I swore I knew the aisle I parked the car in and made a mad dash to get to it.

Well, you guess it! No car and sopping wet. I had to have the mall security drive me around to find my car. Just so embarrassing! Lesson learned the hard way. Once was more than enough!! Now, I always identify the aisle or area I'm parked at even if I have to pick a landmark of sorts..

Years ago I would see people walking around the parking lot looking for their car. Now I'm one of them.

BOOP, I love the car tag...KA-PUT! And she has her little dog with her too! She's driving by a house with a mailbox that says Mr. I think she knows where she's going... LOL!

If I park in a place I'm not familiar with I make sure I note something around the car; cart corral, light post, etc so I don't forget. Not being able to find your car is so embarassing..........definitely has happened to me!

I started 'training' myself to make a mental note of where I parked after doing that at our new Publix.

I think Publix trains their people to help!!!! They always seem to find it for you!!!

I read your GPS joke to DH,. His answer to the dilemma is.........

Set your GPS for the destination far in advance. Then when you get in the car, you'll know where you were planning to go.

(Was he being logical or humorous???)
