I watched the presentation recently for the Oster counter top oven. The demonstrator, sorry can’t remember name, was using large pizza paddles. Does anyone use or know of where to purchase them?

I didn't see the presentation, but I think what you are looking for is called a pizza peel.

amazon has them pizza peel or just google it and see it there is a store near you.

I have a wood one but for the number of times you actually use it, I personally wouldn't buy another one.

Storage is an issue for me, I stand it up between the cabinet and stove so it sits on the floor and needs to be wiped off prior to using.

If I would of known, I saw metal one's with wood handles at Restaurant Depot for as little as $12 and that would of been my choice instead of this wood one. If you or someone has a business, membership is free.

Search restaurant stores online too, I know everyone just uses the Big A for anything and everything but your choices are limited and you might find something better. Also, if you are in a big city, check out locally owned restaurant supply stores.

Thank you all for the input. Just another thing to store away and use, if I remember, once in a great while. I can’t get used to this new life of mine. Old habits die hard!

I agree that the large wooden style paddle isn't easy to store. Mine lives in the laundry room within the plastic bag that it was packaged in. I have a smaller metal/wooden handle that hangs with my pots, handy for the occasional frozen pizza. Both serve a purpose, depending on pizza size. My pizza stone is large, too, but making a super-size loaded pizza has it's own problems. Smaller is easier, all the way around.

Though I did not see the presention and we do have a different brand, a Breville, we don't use it for pizza. We use our regular oven for pizza. However, I did purchase a pizza paddle from Amazon, one that had 5 stars and was Prime, and we love it. I've used it for other purposes as well.

From all the reading of reviews I did prior to purchasing the one I did, make sure you do your research: don't purchase one with lousy reviews. I think I paid something like $13.97 and it still received 5 stars, which surprised me.

Pizza paddles are well worth the purchase, as a paddle will get your pizza out safely and save you from getting burned.

I founf mine online last year at Walmart, reasonable and a decent size for a 12 inch pizza could be pone for larger size too .

You might can keep it where you can use it if there is an intruder like a cast iron skillet or bat. It might be a bit to swing it but anything in a time of need. I do think they would be best hung on a wall flat like a picture.
