I think it was Russell Stover but I'm not sure. They were square and light green on the outside. Inside they had a thin layer of green mint on the bottom and on top of that was marshmallow.

Home Fashioned Favorites were all pastels--filled with various flavors, chocolate, and other things. I think that was one of the ones in this assortment box. It was still around not too many years ago I think.

Sounds good!

I can remember back in the late 60's - early 70's when a group of us would go out on pay day for lunch and stop in at a local florist shop. They sold Russell Stover candy bars and we would always get the French Mint ones. It was a real treat because they were much more expensive than Hershey bars or any of the others.

I remember those french mints. Some were the regular french mint candy bar and others had the green mint coating. I used to get them at Fanny Farmer candy.

I don't remember the Fanny Farmer candies having marshmallow. They were incredibly good, though, with silky smooth chocolate and the green mint. - Bird

I used to get Dream Mint. It was round and had a thick RS milk chocolate outer layer and inside was mint marshmallow. I never ate one that I didn't get it all over me. Yummy. I had forgotten about them. Wish I had one right now.

I think they appear near the middle to end of November or early December and usually sell out pretty quickly, you just have to keep checking and when you see them pounce. There are two kinds Marshmints which are one inch squares hand-made with are a layer of fluffy honey marshmallow coated on all sides with See's rich dark chocolate and topped with minty green jelly and the other one is Red Hot Swamp Goo same as above, but with Cinnamon Jelly instead of the mint.

tkins
