In your opinion which Company offers the best spices? I am going to have to order all new as I gave all of my spices away living temporarily with daughter.

Don't know where you live, but I love a place called the Savory Spice Shop. They do online, but I'm lucky to have one close by. They are local here in Colorado and grind fresh daily. You can get small or large amounts. It's up to you.

I’ve been very happy with Frontier Co-Op spices that I get from Amazon. I usually get larger quantities and keep them in Lock and Lock containers, but you can also buy regular-sized bottles. They’re very fresh and there’s a good selection.

Penzey's has been my favorite for years. Almost all their spices are available in the 1/4 cup size. I never buy spices in bulk because of their short shelf life.

My Spice Sage has excellent spices. Their selection is mind boggling, free s&h and I believe you get to pick a sample spice to be included in your order. They also offer very small quantities if you need a unique spice for just one recipe. Fast shipping and great CS. Cannot recommend them enough!

I just looked that have a terrific sale on this weekend so if you are interested I would take a look today . . .

QVC: The two posts you removed (one of them was mine), contained no political content whatsoever. The posts merely mentioned that the owner of Penzey's has chosen to politicize his spice business. Is that not allowed? I was very careful not to post my personal political opinions out of respect to QVC's policy as was the other poster.

i usually purchase mccormick products and penzeys......both are excellent companies.

mccormicks keeps many employed in our state and that is just one reason to support them, plus they happen to have wonderful products and spices and have been around since 1889!

I only shop local. I have a lovely little spice shop in a town nearby called Alden's Mill House. Such a great place to visit!

I have no problem at all buying McCormick's organics.

I don't know for sure but can I assume those who buy at penzey's are organics? How about the sites you shop at?

Absolutely hands down, The Spice House.

I have ordered from others, but love this company. The quality, selection and FAST delivery makes them a standout to me.

I would NEVER, EVER order again from Penzey's.
