Hi David, My wife and I love your show. However it seems scrub daddy & scrub mommy have lost their quality and we wish that you would reconsider sponsering them until their quality comes back up like the older ones. However, that being said, keep up the great work, we'll see you sunday morning as always.

The quality seems to be inferior to when they originally started, I watched them when they were on Shark Tank and couldn't wait to try it then when they came to QVC I was on autodelivery until it stopped and they use to last a very long time without crumbling, but now even though I am not doing anything different my recent order has crumbled horribly.

Not even the smiley face will keep me as a customer. I hope they get it together soon otherwise this is my last order.

Yep, I gave them up a loooong time ago for that reason, aside from the fact that they never got all that hard no matter how cold the water and the crumble crumble crumble.

Have had the same issue. Loved them at first but now they just don't last very long.

I thought it was just me. The quality is terrible now. Before, I used to get, like, 2-3 months out of them. Now, I'm lucky to get maybe three weeks. I'm not cleaning with them or using them any differently.

I buy them locally and they are fine. Maybe my local stores still have old stock.

I bought the little smiley faced one when they first came out and found they did not hold up.

I have noticed that now the grocery stores I shop at sell I believe the 'scrub Daddy ' --if that is the one that is rectangular without the smile.? I buy a 4 pack for around $5. I find they hold up . I do like that they are safe on all cookware etc. and I like the cold water scrub feature. For stainless steel and heavy duty scrubbing I use a scotch brite.

When the guy who first came up with the Scrub Daddy was on Shark Tank it was Lori Grenier who became his investor. I wouldn't doubt that she's having them made somewhere different than in the beginning as in cheaply somewhere in China. More money in her pocket. I think she dumbs down a lot of the inventors products when she invests in them and starts working with them to get the big sales. No doubt she's made many inventors millionaires but for some I think initially they hit it big then fade into the sunset maybe because of watering down the quality for more profit.

I've thought the exact same thing about Lori in the past too. Everyone 'loves' her but I find fault with all Shark Tank investors when they try to talk the entrepreneurs out of staying in the US with their manufacturing. And they are brutal about it. Yes, people are going to them for advice and money, but really, aren't some things more important than working on your next million/billion dollars?

QVC has a habit of getting a good thing, then cheapening it until it is nothing like the original product line. And such a shame. I guess millions and billions aren't enough for people anymore and they just have to push until the product is gone because it is so bad.

I loved the Scrub Daddy originally, and the newer ones (and by that I mean from the last three years or more) begin to break down within just days. I'm done, and will never buy them again.

I tried this product once, when they did a TSV with the Scrub Mommy - I tried one and it fell apart almost immediately. Not only that, it failed to clean anything the way they claimed it would. I sent them back and have never purchased them again, so I can't say whether they were better in the beginning.

However, I have to laugh at the deal the "Shark Tank" investors turned down - the Ring Doorbell. Which Amazon just bought for one billion dollars! The only one to offer them a deal was "Mr. Wonderful" and it wasn't a good enough deal for them to accept. Those two guys certainly made the right decision!

And no doubt you've noticed how they avoid saying 'CHINA' because they know how that makes most of us feel. Instead they insist on saying 'off shore' like they think we don't know what country they mean.

I thought it was just me too. It's like they manufacture them to last a very long time in the beginning, just to hook customers in to keep buying them. Then the product changes so you have to buy more & more very frequently. It's like a delayed or modified bait & switch. At least, that's how it seems.

I have to agree with everyone else. They no longer hold up to household cleaning. I too purchased Scrub Daddy when they first appeared on tv. They were good then, not now. They just don't hold up. Crumble like a dry biscuit!

I still love my Scrub Daddy/Mommy products. Yes, they crumble, but not for a long time. My current Scrub Daddy has been in use for at least a couple of months and it's just now starting to soften and stretch out. I use them even after they begin to fall apart, as I love them when they're 'broken in'. Admittedly, I didn't use them when they first came out, so I have nothing to compare them to.

I believe Scrub Daddy has a Facebook page; why don't you all share your concerns directly with them? I'm sure word will get back to Lori through the Scrub Daddy folks, that customers are noticing a decline in quality. I'm not aware of a way that customers can communicate with Lori directly, but maybe someone else knows of a website or email address for her company.

I found the round Smiley Face one at a store near our cottage. Unfortunately it is snowed in until spring, but I will be sure to check on durability next time we go there. How disappointing to read.

I've never purchased these scrubbers but I sure appreciate the information here about them. The last scrubbers I bought were a set sold by QVC, maybe Don Aslett's?, that are hard to wear out, they are that good. The set had round and rectangular shapes with microfiber on one side, scrubber on the other. Q is not selling them now, probably because they are so good no one needs to come back for more anytime soon.

Scotch brites will always be the best. Can get in different purposes.

Heavy duty for bathroom scrubbing

non scratch for pots and pans , etc.
