topic Stainless or non stick?? in Kitchen

I have Paula Deens non stick pots and pans. I've had them for almost a year and they are holding up great- Just a couple of scratches where I got one pan stuck in another storing them. I know eventually I will have to replace them though-I've never seen a set of non-stick that lasted more than a few years without the non-stick starting to come off. I see a lot of the stainless out here and just wondered which people thought was the best. I love the nonstick-don't have to use a lot of grease cooking of the non-stick. I've only tried one stainless frying pan one time and it stuck and left a stain the first time I used it so I took it back. Is there a way to get them not to stick? How can you clean them and keep them from being stained?
