David Venable Coffee ?

I was watching the Keurig demonstrations a few days ago and David Venable said he drinks a specific coffee. I couldn't understand find anything that sounds like that in my local grocer. Perhaps it is specific to the Philadelphia area. I usually use the Donut Shop K Cups. David claims the coffee he enjoys is the best one on the market.

I think he uses Peet's coffee. Amazon sells it.

peets french roast is excellent. so is their major dickasons blend in both regular and decaf. the holiday blend is always delicious also and can usually find it right befrore thanksgiving. my mom loves the keurig and gets the kcups, but i buy them in the regular coffee bags and grind them at the store if i am buying them there.

you can get them directly from peets online or through the keurig website where you can use coupon codes and mr rebates. i also buy them from THE FRESH MARKET and GIANT.

Peet’s has long been my favorite kcup. I wait on a good promotion on keurig website and occasionally my grocery store will discount it not often though.

Could David have referred to LaColombe? They roast their coffee locally and it is wonderful. Have been drinking their Corsican blend for years. I once spotted Stacey (the model) in their Rittenhouse Square location.

I don't know if it is available in other places.

I've heard him say many times recently that he loves Peets. We do too. Fortunately it's fairly local and is available in supermarkets here -- often with great promos. We buy their Major Dickasaon

It wasn't too long ago, I recall him saying he is not a coffee drinker. Who knows, maybe he started drinking it.... Not knocking him, I do like him as a host, just recall hearing him say that often.

Then my guess is that soon QVC will be selling this brand of coffee

don't drink, smells good, but, don't want the caffeine and in the de caff still don't taste good. Saves us money though.

I know people who walk around coffee cup in hand all live long day and one man in church drinks 13 cups a day. Can you imagine? I lecture him all the time. Ridiculous !

I love Peet's when I can find it at a sale price. I generally drink 2 cups of coffee a day as my "cups of ambition" . I do favor dark strong coffee and Peet's definitely is that! Although I bought the Major Dickenson once and got 'coffee nerves ' from it. I have read info lately that a sensible amount of coffee daily is good for most , and can be preventative of diabetes (if not too sweetened)

I personally cannot drink real coffee in afternoon and sleep easily in p.m. I find McCafe decaf delicious though.

I don't recall ever hearing DV say he was not a coffee drinker --not saying he did not say it. Maybe it was pre Keurig years ?

@SharkE I used to work 12hour shifts and drink 10 to 12 cups of coffee a day. I think that’s what’s wrong with me now😳. lol!

@millieshops @Reever You can purchase Peet's coffee at Target, on line and in stores. It's not any more expensive then other coffee's and it comes in whole bean and K-cups too.
