Maybe David and the buyers will visit the Keurig booth at the Housewares Show this weekend and see the Elite to offer. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I love the Keurig concept and the last unit I purchased was the one several years ago that has the water button. I've taken very good care of it only using bottled water, changing the filter regardless and using a needle periodically to clean the puncture thing where the water/coffee comes out (gets clogged once in awhile).... I've been happy with the machines I've purchased and have learned along the way but I'm not impressed with the newer models and how they look and feel at all.

I would love a machine made predominately of stainless steel... and I'd be willing to pay for it!

It was really irritating to have to choose between having a much nicer Keurig model or having a very basic model that uses any k cup I wanted. I hope Keurig comes up with a happy medium.

I appreciate you taking time to respond. 😊

@WORKING GAL, leave it to Keurig to do it again. They finally offer a much nicer, upgraded model, and then just make it a revamped 2.0 that only accepts branded k cups. If I wanted that, I would have kept my 2.0. I really hate being forced to downgrade to a basic, no frills model just to be able to use whatever k cups I choose. I thought Keurig learned their lesson about that but maybe not.

Amazon carries SO many different varieties of k cups that I love to try out, my favorite being a brand called Crazy Cups. I want the freedom to choose, but doesn't mean I won't also buy "branded" k cups too.

The K Select seems a little better than my current K55, but not enough improved features to make me trade up. Until Keurig offers the upgraded features of the K Elite and lets me choose what k cups I want to buy, I'll keep my $$ in my wallet. I really miss my Platinum model. It had everything I wanted in a Keurig.

There are little orange stickers things you can buy on Amazon for around $4.00 that you place over the sensor thing on the Keurig 2.0 and you can put any K-cup you like in it. We got a little plastic thing to cover ours about 2 or 3 years ago when we bought it and that has worked well too.

I was also hoping it was going to be the Keurig Elite for the TSV .

@WORKING GAL, we probably started with Keurig at the same time. My Platinum was my first and the TSV. It was perfect. My K55 is adequate and gets the job done, letting me pick and choose what k cups I want. I'm convinced that Keurig will continue to only offer their best models with the branded k cups feature and that makes me feel a little peeved. I really wish I had ordered the Cuisinart coffeemaker for k cups before it was discontinued.
