I didn't see that product, but it wouldn't matter. I'm old school regarding garbage, so if it's garbage I shouldn't have to spend big money on it.

I'm sure that why 10 years ago when I sold my house and moved into an apartment, I was horrified when I went to BBB and they didn't have even an ordinary covered trash can for less than $129. Yeah, I know I was going to get 20% off, but no way was I paying over 100 for a trash can. KMart used to be next door, so I wnt there and found the perfect can for my small apartment - as I remember it cost $15, but it's low-teach and has no issues. It even cleans to bright white still!

I thought it was electric and watched the demo and said to myself what a waste of money, but my garbage provides 1 trashcan (on wheels) & 1 recycle can (if they break we just call them & they will replace it. You can order more cans but pay more per month. I can understand if someone has a large family and trying just to fill their 1 garbage can per week so they don't have to purchase another garbage can for trash pick up. Maybe large families could benefit with this product.

I thought it was great for my daughter who doesn't break down cartons and such before piling in the garbage until I realized it wasn't "automatic". If she doesn't do it now, she won't do it with a $100 manual "press" one either!! UGH. no way!! If it was electric I'd have considered it at that price.

I thought that was a silly product

we recycle everything so trash for 3 people in the family is usually 2 or grocery bags a pickup

I watched part of that presentation and I just couldn't believe it. First of all the plunger part was too small. Secondly, how about just a piece of cardboard - push that down and do a much better job.

There was just not one single reason to buy that! I paid much less for my kitchen can and it does the stuff it does on its own - open the door, close the door. I push stuff down all the time and it's really quite easy.
