was at someone's house last week and they had one, I liked the idea. Have one in my Amz cart, but looking for opinions

I use my Keurig for my tea bags. Works great. If you dont have one this sounds like a perfect solution.

I have one but it doesn't get the water hot enough

and Mr jtb is always making tea in the kettle

We use a Keurig for coffee, my DH does not think its hot enough so 30 seconds in the microwave des the trick

I use my Keurig too for tea bags and hot chocolate. Sometimes I drink a hot cup of water with a little honey.

I don't have one, but as I am considering drinking more tea, it sounds like it would be useful on a continuing basis.

We use a carafe for DH's coffee in the morning, so he can carry it to his office, and it's been ideal. Stays nice and hot.

I'll definitely look into something like this. I just can't see the whole microwave or teapot thing working for me. I don't generally have just one cup, and I like my tea hot.☕️. Good suggestion, @jackthebear

DD got me an electric pot that heats a lot of water in just a few minutes. Works great and use it every day.

I bought the kitche aide glass electric kettle at Costco.It heats the water according to type of beverage selected.I love it for speed and because there is no plastic inner workings.I bought and returned a kettle that changed the taste of the water from plastic inner parts.

It’s better than using your microwave. People have been seriously burned when hot water erupts in their faces when they remove hot water from their microwave.

tea made with microwaved water tastes disgusting to this UK born person.

I have a secura electric kettle. I love it! Heats water in no time, there is no plastic that comes in contact with the water. It's handy when cooking, too. I can heat water in the pot, then pour in a hot pan. I don't have to wait for water to boil. It's one of my favorite kitchen items.

This or an electric kettle is the normal way to heat water to the boil or temperature specific for your tea or coffee or noodles or anything really. I have three, one at work and two at home. One is in my office and the other is in the kitchen. One of those is a temp specific model that will heat water for the specific temp of various teas.

Has anyone ever tried the Sunbeam Hot Shot. My Dad uses one of those all the time for fast hot water for tea, coffee etc.
