I have the wooden ones and actually pretty much use them as wooden spoons.....They do work well for cooking scrambled eggs. As a spatula I find they leave a lot behind and I end up using my orignal rubbermaid spatula anyway!!! I think they're a gimmick.

What could I possibly do with "spurtles" that I can't do with my normal

wooden spoons and silicon spatulas.

Silicone spurtles? I've only seen the wood variety.

I really like my spurtle set and keep them nearby for everyday use. Much better than the plastic utensils and gentler on surfaces than stainless. K46428 is a great set this holiday season!
