(Black brews for 5; red for 10; whites also brew 1-3 minutes.)

If you follow these principals, you shouldn't have any bitterness in any green tea.

I do not like the taste of green tea either. But I LOVE Andrew Lessman's green tea with peppermint. It is the only bag tea I will drink. They are made of silk bags and you dont have to worry about loose leaves or paper bags/tags/staples on the tea bags.

I also really love matcha green tea. It is a lot more pricey but they are deliscious and healthy. Lots of good brands out there, but my current favorite is full leaf tea company

Green tea is delicate 0 does not do well in boiling water and left to steep - I only leave it for 1 minute and take the loose leaves out. Otherwise it is bitter.

He claims you can’t do anything to it to make it bitter. I suggest watching a video presentation on HSN to hear him talk about it. I like his green tea.

If your tea is bitter you are steeping it too long! Try shortening your steeping time and you'll have a lovely tasting cup of tea.

I have always loved the taste of green tea but it would make me feel queasy every time I drank it. I tried Twingings gunpowder green tea. It is loose leaf in a tin. It is delicious and does not make me feel ill. I detect no bitterness. Be sure that you are not boiling the water when making green tea.
