I purchased a NuWave oven approximately 2 years ago and love it, use it approximately 4 times a week. However, recently it has started to smell smoky, there is no smoke showing but it has a burning odor when running. Do you think this is an element issue or maybe the racks need to be cleaned? I have cleaned the interior rack with GP66 and the clay cleaner sold on QVC and rinsed thoroughly but still have the burining odor? Please advise. Thanks.

Are you talking about the round glass appliance? I trashed one after it came on by itself at night and was very hot when I found it in the morning. It was about a week outside of the warranty so I took the whole thing to the garbage can.

Clean the inside, everything but the powerhead.
If you put food directly on the racks (I dont) soak and scrub them. You should be taking it apart and cleaning it regularly. Remove the drip pan on the bottom, you'll find a pool of condensation under there if you've been ignoring this step.
You must have a lot of cooked on spatter of you think cleaning might be the fix.

Lol! Another 20 bucks!
