Sorry, but I cannot tolerate the KA rep lady. Her voice sounds like a little child and her actions depict the same. This is just my opinion and if I want to watch her demos, I do so w/the mute. Mostly, I just check out the items online.

I agree. She also seemed to dumb down the presentation like we were stupid. I only watched a couple of minutes and turned the channel.

I don't care for her demos either.She has big shoes to fill though so maybe over time she will improve.

I feel so bad but I agree. I wanted to say something before but it seemed so petty. She can't help it. She seems so happy to be there.

My new neighbor has a voice like that. So many times, I've thought a child was visiting next door, only to learn it was just her voice. Very strange.

I like Tina Verelli, and I like that she explains everything. I am not a "wiz" in the kitchen and I need all the help I can get! I ordered the Kitchen Aid TSV in black, don't have a stand mixer, but aspire to have one. My mother in law has a voice like hers and she has been asked on the phone if her mother is home. Guess I'm just used to the sound of the voice, it doesn't bother me. Tina seems really sweet and seems to enjoy what she does!

The other KA lady always said "David" , "look David" , "and David"

"Ok, David". Poor David knows who he is. LOL

I think Tina does a very nice job and her creations are sometimes something I would try. She is very good at explaining and using the products. Laura was also an exceptional rep for KA.

I just plain miss Laura Weathers. Even though I wasn't buying, I loved her presentations.

There is a family member on my husband's side who has a nasally sort of high pitched totally Minnie Mouse kind of voice. When I first met her years and years ago I was taken back and wondered what the heck was up with her. Nobody had warned me "by the way when you meet D+++++ don't be surprised at the sound of her voice." It didn't take long before we became close friends and it also didn't take long before I stopped noticing her voice which is why, I found out, that no one mentioned it to me. They all (his family) were used to it. To this day we are friends and I never notice it but other people have quietly asked me in her presence what the heck is up with her voice. And the answer is.......she has very little hearing and that is what has affected the way she speaks and therefore the way her voice sounds. At least that's how it was explained to me.

I like Tina & her presentations.... her voice doesn't bother me at all ..... just change the channel if it bothers you that much ... there are so many other things in this crazy world of ours to worry and complain about.

I agree. Many other vendors and several of the new hosts do not have particularly pleasant voices. Carolyn, Jill, David and the fellow that was on at night for a short time (can't recall name) have very pleasant voices.

They should have hired a professional home economist with teaching experience for that job, and not a bake-off winner. Unless there's something else we don't know about her, she's unqualified for the job. She's not my favorite vendor.

I agree about the voice, but I disliked Laura's voice also - even though I liked her a lot. I think their voices are very similar.

I think Tina is great. A very capable and lovely woman who truly brings her authentic love of cooking to her presentations. I think some of the harshest comments about her voice are actually those that just miss Laura Weathers -- especially since Tina and Laura have remarkably similar voices.

About being unqualified, I have not seen one flub or misstep in any of her presentations, although goodness knows she's human and anyone can make a mistake. I doubt being a bake-off winner is the only reason she got the job. There are bake-off winners every year. She must have impressed QVC with her teaching and presentation skills. I like her.

KA is a known brand and any rep doesn't have to do a hard sell. You know whether you need a stand mixer or not. Also agree that the new and old rep have similar voices. I did like Laura more but that is not saying I dislike the new rep.

I truly think that a beauty product that is not known relies more on the vendor's personality that is selling. I don't need another moisturizer but can be swayed more easily to shell out $30 thatn $300 for a convection oven.
