I'm wondering if my Copper Chef microwave grill is defective. I bought it earlier this month when it was a TSV. The demo looked awesome and the food appeared to cook evenly.

My own grill only seems to grill or brown on the top. The bottom of my food, no matter if it's a grilled cheese sandwich or a chicken breast, never looks cooked on the bottom. I always have to flip everything over and microwave it additional time.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes, I have only used mine once for pork chops, but I also had that problem, And the chops seemed gray, even though they were done. On the presentation nothing looked gray when done. I did pre heat my grill like the directions said.

We did eat the chops any way, but yes, I was a little disappointed.
