Do you buy foods based on David's testimonial?

Just wondering, do you, or have you, purchase foods offered at QVC based on David testimonial in "Foodie Court"? And were the foods good as he says?

The only food I ever choked on...literally were those potstickers he raves about...everything else I have enjoyed.

I'll stick with my local Chinese restaurant when I am in the mood to have some with DH. They taste great and no S&H

@EatWell and everything presented on the Food Network is also delicious, haven't found a show that told me "don't waste your time or money"

While I'd have to disagree about the potstickers (I loved them!), I don't buy based on the host opinions or comments. They've got a job to do. I'm with a previous poster....the reviews from prior customers are more important to me.

I HAVE YET TO BUY ANY FOOD FROM QVC SOME TIME BACK I BOUGHT A JUNIORS CHEESE CAKE IN A SUPERMARKET TOOK ONE BITE OUT IT WENT WAS SO DRY HAD NO TASTSE I BUY SAMPLE CHEESE CAKES AT WALMART SO MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER ALL THERE FOOD IS WAY OVERPRICED

Thank you for posting this first! I also love the potstickers and I prepare them so that they are delicious! We have a chain called Cooper's Hawk that we go to once a month for Happy Hour, and they have potstickers prepared similar to the ones sold on the Q.

First time pot sticker buyer here (this past month) and have to say, they are addicting.

I did finally try because of a special price, but David does rave about these more than most foods they sell, so between the price, his rave, and the guaranteed money back if I'm not satisfied, yep, I guess I did at least once buy based on his testimonial.

No; I'm pretty sure I've never watched David's show but I make it a point not to fall for hard core salespeople's pitches on anything.

do the AMISH use a treadle peddle microwave? <G>

I don't usually buy the QVC food but have purchased K items from David time to time.

One time I bought some cookies he was pushing and they were HORRIBLE!

He is a paid pusher, we must keep this in mind. I do read reviews if available.

Temptation casserole/tote on now, I have one (rectangle) and use it often.

It's his job to make every food item sound as though it was made in heaven and should be purchased and loved by everyone. So, no, I'm not going to be gullible and believe his words or expressions.

Some years ago, I purchased Junior's Cheesecakes and enjoyed them, plus 2 Prindables Apples. The apples were a bust. The cheesecakes were quite good, but purchased because I knew others who had purchased them and loved the product.

At Christmas time I ordered the Corkey's smoked turkey breast, it was delicious. Sadly it came with 2 St. Clair sides, I chose Mac and cheese and corn bread stuffing, and they were horrid. I tossed the Mac and cheese as it was so greasy, no one would eat it. The dressing was dry and only tasted like onion. I'm not picky, but these sides were not edible.

Yes and NO! The food on the Q is indeed convenient, but for me, leaves alot to be desired. Also, it's very expensive for what it is. I do love the Kansas City spiral cut ham though and even though it's very expensive, it's that good and worth it to me.

Nope, dont buy any prepared food from TV. Besides he says it all tastes good. Whats he going to say..........Yuck, folks this tastes like ******........

No way. I have bought food in the past that was fantastic and ordered the items again later and they were terrible so will not attempt it ever again. The best food I ever purchased on QVC were jumbo lump crab cakes that I had ordered for maybe 3 years off and on. They were always good and then they just weren't - from good to bad with the same company in a short time. I can't remember their name but they started getting a lot of negative reviews at the same time I noticed the change in quality and they were gone a year or two later.

No. I haven't bought food from QVC for several years. Got "stung" a few times and I find it quite expensive. Those pizzas today did interest me, but for $5.00 each they seemed very small. I like the low carb feature though.

No, the hosts have absolutely no influence on me with the foods I buy, as I do not watch any programming. I shop only by QVC.com, and just buy foods with free shipping.

Well then I'd be buying a lot. The answer is no. I do treat us to Grandma's Coffee Cakes because we like them. The potstickers tempt me too.
