ITA with you about the silver ware I purchased (Reed & Barton) several years ago. It is quite lovely . In the demos DV kept touting that it is continental size -- the dinner fork especially is huge ! It is not necessary to place the whole meal in one's mouth at one time .

I was thinking the opposite. I bought my mother a new set of silverware and thought it was sturdy. I don't remember the brand. It was one of the known silverware brands and was not cheap. The first time I used it, I thought it would bend in half. LOL. Very disappointed. I have a set of RSVP from the Q. They must be 20 years old. You can't bend them if you wanted to.
