I thought with Easter coming and people coloring and eating hard boiled eggs this might be of some help! I have a health issues and have to watch the food I eat. At one time I would crack an egg and cook it, or put it in water and boil it, not anymore now I test it first and thank goodness I do! I get a large bowl fill with cold water and put in the egg if it floats throw it out if it sinks you can eat it!I bought a carton of what I thought were fresh eggs I guess I was wrong, had to throw away 4, sometimes people switch eggs because of a crack or a few are to small what ever the reason lately in every carton I find a few bad ones, so now I check everytime I use them. As they say better safe than sorry!!! Hope this helps
