I use my 9 x 13 TT pan to make mac & cheese all the time and - if I butter it first - it does come out as easily as they show, and i just rinse it and throw it in the DW on the top shelf.

I have considered buying some items of Temptations at times. Let's face it is featured a lot! I have read many negative and positive posts about it. I love the idea of something that doesn't stick like in the presentations , but want to ask you that own it --does it really come out as easily as they show? I just made mac n cheese in my favorite corning ware dish and I guess I didn't butter it enough beforehand and had to pitch my sponge from the cleanup and thought of how easy tt seems to be to clean with nothing adhering. True?

Also has anyone purchased 'as is' items ? I wanted to buy polka dots and this is about all that is on QVC.

I have bought two "as is" items and both were perfect. I have no complaints at all. Some of these are just demonstration pieces. Whatever they are, I have had no complaints.

As to sticking...I have never added any kind of spray or butter to any pasta dishes in TT, but I do lightly butter a cake pan. Once that is done, I have had no problem with items coming out of the pan. I use the fluted tube pan a lot, and with just a tiny bit of butter on the sides, it works great and gives a perfectly even cooking.

Outside of (shudder) non-stick coated metal, I don't consider anything non-stick. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.
