When you use the word dieting, it sends a message to yourself that you are denying yourself. I have watched what I ate for 10 months and have lost over 61 lbs. I did it by walking and eating sensibly. I use to eat sweets. This was my achilles heel. After I started eating healthy, my cravings went away. Just remember this is a day to day process and each day will be a challenge but you can do it. Following any diet is a mistake and will only bring failure when you try to adjust to a program. I tried many diets and eventually gained all the weight back plus some. I had to teach myself how to eat and what to avoid. Also, my son gave me a Fitbit for my birthday in December and this has been a great help. I log all my food for the day and make sure my calorie intake is within my goal for that day. Also, I walk at least 10,000 steps a day. Also, weigh yourself once a week and you can see your progress. I log my weight on the dashboard for Fitbit. You can do it. Keep us posted on your progress.

I really don't have much to lose, maybe 5 to 10 pounds max. Have had great success in the past with WW. So I've been thinking of caling them again and going to some locally convenient meetings.

Bam - then here comes those annoying Oprah commercials. The "I Love Bread" pushed me away before, but this new one is worse. Sorry, Oprah, but seeing you in that black leotard outfit (which is not flattering) , and then with the spaghetti hanging out of your mouth just thoroughly convinces me that right now WW isn't where I want to go. Maybe when they get some real people with real lives and without a personal chef to cook for then. I'll think about it again.

Honestly I am sick of "celebrities" hawking diet plans, like Kristi Allely for Jenny Craig and/or Marie Osmond for Nutrisystem. Need to see some "average" American gals before I join in again. (I did like Kat on QVC!)
