I don't know if this has been discussed (I don't come here much), but I bought a new gadget called Angry Mama. It cleans your microwave by putting vinegar and water in the body and steam comes out of the head to loosen all the crude in the microwave. I used it and it worked pretty well. I bought it at Amazon for $10.

You can accomplish the same thing by spraying the inside of your microwave with plain water and turning it on high for seven seconds. Been doing that for years. And it's basically free.

I just use 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of vinegar and turn the microwave on for 5 minutes. It wipes clean!

Do you spray that much or put it in a bowl? I'm confused.

Cute, but other than a few spatters, ours doesn't get that dirty.

I put a small bowl of vinegar in and heat it until it begins to boil. Let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes and wipe the microwave clean with a paper towel.

I bought the Angry Mama just because it is a cute conversation piece. I used to clean my microwave the same way as mentioned in previous posts. I just like the cute angry mama!
