topic Temptations has Lead Paint? in Kitchen

Dear Jill and community bloggers, I own many, many pieces of Temptations bake ware and have recently been informed of a lead paint concern with these dishes. They say lead safe but not lead free. They are testing positive for lead on several web sites. I really love these dishes and have a fortune in them I own so many and now am very nervous to use them. Reports are saying because they are made in China with very inexpensive product that they do indeed contain lead to a certain amount but if they were made in the USA would have to meet much higher safety standards. Again really love these dishes just have mixed feelings now about the quality. Would greatly appreciate any truthful insight to this concern. Thank you.

Same here. Leadsafemama tested the Christmas cups and found unacceptable levels of lead. I have a fortune in these dishes and now I’m afraid to use them.
