I've used mine several times, no problem, but the other day DH made grilled cheese sandwiches in it. They were definitely NOT burned, but the center of the pan seems damaged and there were some black bits which didn't come off.

They're not selling it any longer on HSN, I wonder if the pan just wasn't any good.

Does anyone here have one? Any recommendations for how to clean the black bits without scratching it? We tried soaking it, not much better.

I had that pan and returned it. I like to cook pork with Korean BBQ sauce and even with the nonstick it stuck like glue and was very had to clean. It also discolored it. I'm back to using a Staub cast iron grill. Heating the pan with water and baking soda lifts everything off without scrubbing!

I purchased a set of three of his pans about a month ago and I just love them. Right now my meals have been pretty much breakfast centric but what I noticed right away was how great my french toast came out as normally I would be fiddling with the temperature to get a nice "toast". They heat up beautifully, evenly and quickly (I use an induction burner). Couldn't be more pleased! . . .
