topic Vitamix/Dry Bowl Question in Kitchen

I ordered the TSV yesterday after waiting and watching a long time but the cost just prohibited me. After ordering, I heard about the dry container. No, I probably wouldn't make flour most of the time; so, will this do all the other things I probably would do in the kitchen? If I wanted, would it make dough, etc. or would I have to have the other container. I'd really like to hear from some of you that have experience with the Vitamix.
