--> Original Recipe <--

My Edits:

1 package Ore-Ida® Tater Tots
1 chopped onion
2 chopped bell peppers
2 Cream Of Chicken Soup
8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
4 slices chopped bacon
1 1/2 cups Sour Cream
2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
6 ounces Stuffing Mix Herb Seasoned
1/4 cup Butter Melted, or bacon grease

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place Tater Tots, bell peppers and onions into bottom of baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together soup, cream cheese and sour cream. Add bacon. Spoon evenly over Tater Tot mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Top evenly with stuffing mix and drizzle with melted butter or bacon grease.
Bake uncovered for 60 to 70 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Oh my goodness that sounds wonderful~!

And the bacon grease...! My wonderful Mother would drain the bacon grease into a lidded milk glass container with hearts and tiny dancing dutch ladies she kept at the side of her range and would scoop out what she needed to "flavor" whatever she was making. It always made it taste out of this world! Thanks for the memory! I have that little glass container that she used to use.... she wore off all the decorations on it!
